General

• Register under the name of your character (first and last, preferably).
  
• Be polite and respectful. Don't start fights over politics, religion, or any other hot topic.
  
• An activity check will be held every month. Those who do not respond to it will be deleted.
  

In Character

• There is one account per character, but you can have as many accounts as you can keep active.
  
• Your character must be accepted by a staff member before you can begin role playing with them.
  
• Mary/Gary Sues are not accepted. Please give your character some faults.
  
• Godmodding and powerplaying are unacceptable. If you give someone permission to manipulate your character in their post, please make a brief OOC comment about it.
  
• Romance must be kept PG. I personally would suggest the Philadelphia Story for inspiration if you're having trouble.
  
• We prefer quality over quantity. That being said, please make your posts at least 100 words. More than that is highly encouraged, but we recognize that there are times when a short post gets the idea across better.
  
• Your posts should be free of grammatical or spelling errors. If in doubt, run your posts through a word processor. This also means that chat speak and all similar forms of communication are not to be included in your posts.
  
• Post in third person, past tense please.
  

Housekeeping

• No pictures featuring profanity or nudity are allowed.
  
• Do not stretch the boards. Signatures must be 500 or less in width.
  
• Avatars are to be 100x100.
